RA is the sum total of what you put into it.
Find out how to get involved below.
Join
- Become a member of RA
First things first: You're going to want to become a member of RA. Yes, we know. One more user account on one more website. Who needs it? The answer? You.
Once you're a member on RA, you'll have your own profile and dedicated space on the site—handily called My RA—that keeps track of your forum posts, event photos, feeds and event listings, while also updating you on what your favorite DJs and labels are up to right this very minute. It's a one-stop shop for everything electronic music-related in your life.
Share
- The cool things you've found on the web
Only jerks keep things to themselves. Which is why we've facilitated a way for you not to be a jerk. The Feed is a way for you to share with the rest of the world the cool things that you've found elsewhere on the web, whether it be mixes, interviews, videos, games or something awesome that you just can't help but want other people to see. All of it is subject to an editor's approval, but if it's great, you'll be seeing your name in lights on the front page of RA in no time.
- The details of a party you're going to
We can't be everywhere at once. Which is why we welcome anyone to add event details to our party database. (494541 events and counting!) What's more, we've given you the chance to keep track of those events in your My Events section. If the venue or line-up changes, you'll have no problem making the necessary changes.
- The photos you've taken at a party
Got some great party snaps that need a home? RA members can submit photos to be considered for inclusion in our photo galleries. If we like your photos and they're exclusive to RA, we might even ask you to join our official team of photographers to take photos at events in your city.
- The (absolutely right and true) opinions you have
We know, we know. You do know better than anyone else. We're honestly surprised we forgot. In the meantime, though, you should feel free to show off in the RA forum. Or, if you're feeling the allure of the glamorous lifestyle of the critic or journalist, you can even apply to be a contributor to RA's editorial team.
Promote
- Your (amazing) DJ career
Playing out on the weekends? During the week too? You may need a DJ page on RA. It'll automatically keep track of your gigs, have a place for all of your charts, showcase the amazing music that you're making and more.
- Your (just as amazing) record label
Finally got the money together to put out some music? Don't worry. Having a label page on RA is completely free of charge. It's a great place to keep track of the artists that have charted your imprint's tracks, announce new releases and promote the artists that you feel so passionate about.
- Your (even more amazing) regular party
You love helping people get down on a regular basis. You are the people we love the most. Get your own promoter page here to help people understand how long you've been at it, how much fun people are having at your events and more.
