The BadFormat! Social Club opened on 23rd May and staged The Soundcity Sabotage Party, one of the events that closed Soundcity, the Liverpool music industry conference. The event included memorable performances from The Screaming Lights, The Suzukis and Scarface And The Pigs. Mr.Paul closed the night with a great DJ set. In the same way as the magazine, The Social Club's aim is to provide a venue that encourages collaboration and contribution from its customers - This will take the form of communities to develop club nights, workshops, events and lectures. It will also offer services such as free wi-fi, printing services, computer hardware and software support, as part of a coffee culture workspace; enabling it's customers to meet up, talk and work in a great place with the support of the Social Staff.
