After 63 years in business, East Vancouver’s Famous Waldorf Hotel has been reimagined as a creative compound where contemporary art, music, food and culture convene under one roof. Special events, unique spaces, great food and hospitality. There’s always something happening at The Waldorf. The complex consists of renovated hotel rooms, two restaurants (Nuba Cafe and The Leeteg Dining Room), a Tiki Bar (restored and retrofitted with a vintage analogue audiophile sound system), Barbarella Hair Salon, Gift Shop, a live music venue, nighclub and multi-media theater space. In the works is a recording studio, tied to a residency program for visiting musicians. Programming for the space is both artistically expansive and thematically inclusive. The Waldorf joins a new wave of Vancouver businesses that are conversing with the city, setting a benchmark for culture and hospitality.
