N.C.L.A is a brand new venue. Dance Nation will be the first Dance Event to be held here.
The venue used to be the old Odeon Cinema and has a capacity of up to 2200 people.
The venue itself is 'cone shaped' to increase the surround sound so volume and sound quality is enhanced.
There is a large balcony that over looks the main dance floor and will hold up to 300 people at one time.
Facing the main dance floor is a large stage with a 40 ft screen and you can imagine how it looked when it was first used as a picture house, but the screen on dance events is used to project moving images.
The venue is ideal as it is in the centre of Newport with easy access to the bus and train stations and motorway. There are also car parking facilites available.
