Allen & Heath is one of the most respected brands in electronic music. Their DJ equipment, in particular, has become an industry standard, with their various mixers getting use in thousands of clubs around the world on a weekly basis. At the moment, the English company is gearing up for a major firmware update for their digital mixer arm, the Xone:DB series. There are further boosts to both models’ 50+ FX—including the addition of the new Infrabass effect—alongside a hefty batch of additional creative options. As fantastic as these additions—due to arrive at the end of this month—sound, unfortunately only those already in possession of the Xone:DB2 or Xone:DB4 will benefit.
