We also have a selection of CDs and concert tickets to give away.
For nearly two decades, Squarepusher, AKA Tom Jenkinson, has been one of experimental electronic music's leading figures. With more than a dozen albums to his name, the Englishman's talent as a multi-instrumentalist, producer and visual artist is recognised worldwide. In conjunction with the release of his most recent album, Ufabulum, out on Warp, Jenkinson has been working a new live show that makes use of an impressive LED display programmed to his compositions. This show will touch down at The Roundhouse in London at the end of this month.
In anticipation of what's looking like being the most impressive Squarepusher A/V show to date, we'll be giving away a rather unique, one-off prize. Up for grabs is a GEC Type J-1 valve signal generator, used in the Squarepusher studio as a test tool for building circuits (originally given to Jenkinson to complete A-levels his by a laboratory assistant in 1993). It was most notably used on "Vacuum Garden" and "Circlewave 2," both tracks from his 2006 Hello Everything full-length. Music will also be included, with a CD version of Ufabulum, a Japanese deluxe edition of Hello Everything, a collection of Japan-only merchandise, an iPhone case and t-shirt. One London-based winner will also score two tickets to Jenkinson's upcoming show at The Roundhouse.
