A recording of my sunrise set on Saturday morning 04 May 2013. Pretty much everything thrown into this mix, it migrates from big, dark techno records in the dead of night to warmer deeper stuff as the dawn begins to break over the desert. Probably the most unique setting I have ever played in. It was a very, very special experience and I thank the LedHedz for the opportunity to play on their bus.
Afrika Burn is an Burning Man regional event held annually in the desert in the middle of South Africa. Its the biggest BM event outside of Black Rock City this year hosting 8000 people. Some mates of mine bought an old double decker bus and fitted it with a massive rig so it became a kind of travelling sound system. Every night they'd take it and park it out in the middle of the desert, facing one of the huge wooden sculptures and have a bit of a party. This is a recording of what went down.
