Ad.Mark is 29 years old Andreas Markantonis. Originally from Athens city (Greece) but living in Elefsina, a small town near Athens. He got involved with the electronic music from start 90’s and immediately he got enthusiastic with the idea of playing as a dj. Much easier at the early years Ad.Mark began to play successfully as a dj and short after decided to organize “Megatrance” he’s own very successfully parties at the near areas of Elefsina and Athens. That gained him a radio show at “Channel One” witch held for many years. The evolution of music at the 90’s pushed him to dedicate most of his time to the production and leave his job as a dj in second fate. He started to organize he’s equipment and improve his production skills. In 1998 he forms the project “Altergroove” in trance orientation. It was only until 5 years later when he meets Tolis Q when things got seriously. Tolis Q was already an established dj in Greece and just started to explore the production world. Ad.Mark & Tolis Q project was born. It took them about 2 years of hard work to release their first tracks “Disted Life” & “Flip” in a Greek independed label. This pushed them to work harder and got them a remix opportunity from Swedish label “ACDC/Spiral Trax”. The “Kruger & Coyle - Kiwi Rider” remix was massive and they gained attention from people and labels. Candyflip asked them to remix Motions “Hesitation” and at the summer of 2006 they bring out their first hit “Soul Device” for TSOE. In year 2007 the result of their very good work in music production showed up clearly. Tolis Q & Ad.Mark participated by the summer in three releases. A remix for Nufrequency’s “Love Sick Ft. Plavka” for Italian label “Rebirth”, a 4 track EP for Presslab/Remud and “Next Step” ?? for Greek label Design Music. While preparing a new EP for Tolis Q own label Quantized Music, they’ve been asked to remix the mighty D-Nox & Beckers for Kumquat Tunes witch they successfully did and later on Jim Rivers “Blackbox” for Global Underground! At the moment Ad.Mark continues to work with Tolis Q on several new tracks aiming to get 2008 even better! Already signed new material for Kosmas Epsilon’s label “Epsilon Trax”, for Strange Love Recordings and Plusquam Records. Along with he’s standard partner in crime he also collaborates with Midnight Pulse & Funky Wizard on different tracks and ideas. Stay tuned there is a lot more to come!
