| | Alex De Ponti was born in Milan in 1979. Heavily influenced by the early House movement, Alex was exposed to rough and ready dance music from day one. Spinnin naturally became an obsession, and after a couple of years Alex’s musical diet started inevitably expanding and put him on the path to the extreme eclecticism he is reknown for today. Alex is an old friend of Trippin Records and this link enabled him to have exposure to the London Underground scene where his old skool style and selection can be given the recognition they deserve. In 2003, together with another italian dj, he founded VINYLBROKERS – the first italian source of wax completely focused on second-hand classics both as a record shop and as an internet store.
