Born in Baltimore, he spent his formative years growing up in the west-country of England. Nestled in the shadow of Glastonbury he was enchanted by the psychedelic sounds of pioneering rock music and acoustic luminaries, juxtaposing with a deep-rooted passion for Hip-Hop music. It was only on moving to the city of Leeds in the mid-noughties that his love affair with electronic music began. Engrossed by the city's vibrant nightlife and energetic dance-music scene, Alex soon ditched the guitar in favour of a pair of turntables and some basic production gear.
