As a DJ Alex Taylor has rocked dance floors across Australia for over ten years. With a versatile style that is nothing short of eclectic Alex manages to seamlessly mix soulful deep house uplifting chunky house and rocking breaks through to the deeper sound of U.S. tribal.
Alex is consistently a part of the line-up of almost every gay dance party event in Australia. With a C.V that reads like the Who’s Who of Australian dance party history Alex has played at events such as Mardi Gras Sleaze Ball, Queer Nation, Winterdaze, Melbourne Gatecrasher, Two Tribes, Homelands UK, Mobile Home and toured Australia as a headliner for the Ministry Of Sound's Club Nation 2003.
Regularly booked around Oz and New Zealand also London Space & Pacha Ibiza San Francisco L.A and Singapore. 2004 sees Alex back on the Home Sydney decks where he is resident at the hugely popular ‘Together @ Home’ every Saturday.
Alex also holds residencies at Queer Nation The Colombian Hotel The Midnight Shift GAY and Arq. With regular guest spots at Sounds On Sunday and Yu. Nominated for ‘Peoples Choice Award – Best DJ’ at the 2001 DMA’s. Regular DIVA Award Winner for 'Best DJ' (’94 ’96’97 ’98 & ’99). Voted Number 19 in the 2003 Technics INTHEMIX top 50 Australian DJs
