Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Alkalina started developing his ear for electronic music on year 2000 but it wasn’t until 2007 that he discover a new sound that really inspired him to play music. At the beginning of his dj career he started playing Minimal Techno and recently he is more involved with the Deep-House / Tech-House since the big move to New York City in 2010. Alkalina has shared decks with many big names in the Techno/House Music scene such as: Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Jamie Jones, M.A.N.D.Y, James Zabiela and many others. He has played in the best clubs in Puerto Rico, New York City and also played in some events at Miami WMC and Detroit Movement Weekend. His music selection and sequence of sounds while mixing is what really makes the crowd go crazy on his dancefloor.
