His love for EDM was widened when he began digging some techno in which he discovered when acquaintance and close friend introduced him to one of the earlier "Sound Of" albums produced by Sven Vath. From that day onwards, Alkan grew an interest and growing attraction to sounds similar to Cocoon along with other dark and melodic labels.
