Getting a pair of 1200's for his 18th birthday was the beginning of Alpha Channel's DJ journey, Originally looking up to DJs such as Qbert and DJ Shadow and favouring broken beats, jazz and hip hop from labels such as Ninja Tune and Mo Wax he started out playing music that was very different in style to what he plays today.

Relocating to London after university Alpha Channel has played gigs and rocked house parties ever since. Today his musical interests lie in techno and tech funk with musical influences as diverse as Dr Dre to Elite Force or Charles Mingus to Aphex Twin. Having retreated from the party scene for the last few years to focus on music production and working on converting his DJing style into the digital realm, he has been slaving away forging a sound that stays true to all the elements that he loves about music be that jaw clicking percussion and throbbing bass lines or spine tingling keys and mind melting noises. In his sets he incorporates music ranging from deep house to techno and back to minimal with the odd loop from some of the more obscure parts of his music collection.

As a part of the CodeKontrol crew Alpha Channel has played many big parties round London and is expanding his reach into Europe playing gigs in Romania, Paris and Italy. Supporting names such as Hobo, Alex Under, Ahmet Sendil, Shlomi Aber, Alex Bau, and Mark Henning. Alpha Channel's productions are being well received too with a JPLS remix featuring on the techalot EP and he in turn remixing other artists such as Monoblock, Sub Secret and Booz.
