Vasilis Vlachogiannis aka AMTR has been involved with the electronic, dance, scene in his native Greece since 1999. Djing from an early age in Clubs and bars in his native country. Since relocating to Birmingham UK in 2004 his musical direction widened and he some grew a passion for the more melodic side of the tech genres..

He is known for his diverse-ranging sets that include everything from techno, house and electronica and capable of rockin’ all types of parties, from small hottest clubs to bigger venues. In addition to his tight technically testing mixes he is constantly looking for ways to push boundaries both musically and technically using some of the latest technology on the market.

After winning a residency at the Infamous Timbuk 2 in Bristol and playing along side the likes of Mark Henning, Saytek, and Loco & Jam to name just a few he has soon proved he can perform with some of the best.
After hosting his own Internet radio show on Danceradioglobal, Vasili was soon finding his diary filling up quick.

2011 has so far seen Vasili test his skills as a producer with tracks due for release before the end of 2011 on the label People Records UK that he has formed with Keith Earl aka Vitruvian Man Due for launch in September 2011.
2011 has also seen him promoting successful nights in Bristol with his latest night “Lost!” booking the likes of Dexter, Rebekah, and Nihad Tule.

Influenced in the early 90's by underground legends such as Frankie Knuckles and Detroit's Octave one, later by John Digweed and James Holden and more recently by the likes of Alex Smoke and Mathew Jonson and many other different music spectrum artists, AMTR’S mix can be found to include the more technological cutting edge productions, floating between nostalgia and present brilliance.
