Biography of Andre Ramos | | | Moniker(s) / | My new EP called ''Amplified'' will be out on July 3, 2012 on (Android Muziq) |
A native of the Big Apple, Andre Ramos, AKA Pitchverb, was initially intrigued by the art of making music at the age of 9 when he first started “banging on drums”. His teenage years were occupied with the involvement in New York’s electronic scene. These early years gave him an insight into the diversity of sound within the different genres of electronic music. At 20, Andre moved to Florida to be closer to his father/song writer, Tito Ramos, former member of the TNT Boys, also a musician . While in Florida, Andre met DJ/Producer, DJ Hymn and Robin Olive, AKA Placid Fluidity of Naked Soul. His association with the members of Naked Soul led him to venture to the city of Atlanta where he collaborated on different projects with Naked Soul and other fellow musicians and DJ’s. In Atlanta, the opportunity to showcase his talent at the Mid Town Music Festival, one of Atlanta’s biggest festivals, was granted. Andre then returned to Florida where he experimented with different sounds in the attempt to create a style that would be associated with his name. In the midst of his musical progression and evolution, Andre teamed up with Skip of No Nonsense Records and Squaw of Foul Play Records and formed The Pen Pricks, from which The Blurring of the Lines EP was created and released. This EP was right up Andre’s alley of unique sound. Andre decided to go back to where his musical interest originated, his “musical roots”…Techno. Andre diligently strives to make music that is not only distinct, but memorable. So look out and listen in because the uniqueness of Andre’s sound is guaranteed to move you, please you and leave you wanting more!
