Apart the Phatjak projects, Vangelis is focusing this period on solo releases and collaborations in top labels, putting out his own personal trademark. With a dedication of more than 15 years in music, success knocked his door in 2000 after a big record hit (''Circus'') he did with his partner Evan Kay under the alias ''Mod Squad''. Phatjak project was born 2 years after. During that period of time Vangelis studied sound engineering and music technology which prooved to be wise and helpfull tools for the years to come.
