A French DJ sharing his time between the U.S, France and the Middle East,Anicet spins house and disco tunes since 2006, in a style influenced by the legends of the underground American dance scene - from Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles to Tim Sweeney and Theo Parrish. His sets cover more than 30 years of musical history and blend together disco 12", reedits and dub versions of 70's and 80's underground classics, with the best of the most recent house and nu-disco productions from Detroit, New York and Hamburg. His seamless transitions reflect years of experience and a special care paid not only to rythms, but also to melodies, textures, and harmonics.

Anicet shared line-ups with DJ Sneak, Tim Sweeney (DFA), Beautiful Swimmers, Surkin, Para One, Scottie B, Dan Deacon, Adventures, School of Seven Bells, Crystal Stiltes, PWRFL Power and VDRK. He played in 9.30 Club (DC), Music Hall of Williamsburg (NY), Sonar (Baltimore), NuBlu (NY), Happy Ending (NY), The Annex (NYC), Crash Mansion (NY), Rock & Roll Hotel (DC) and Cake Shop (NY), among other places.

After two years as a lead member of the Rad! DJ crew in Washington, DC , Anicet now lives mostly in Damascus, where he is the curator and resident DJ of the weekly "damas social club" dance party at the Fardos hotel club.
