Born with a lifetime supply of lust for music, Arturo Maia began his DJing career back in ‘97, pioneering into Mexico’s electronic music scene. He is well-known for being in the vanguard, and always on the look-out for that ever-refreshing sound that also reflects his maturity as a DJ. He’s considered the Mexican head honcho and quite a figure amongst the international scene, proving him one of the most respected Mexican DJs around. He’s been seen spinning in cities such as London, Tokyo, Tel Aviv, Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as at some high-profile festivals such as the SOS in Japan, Turkey’s Soulclipse, and the Earthdance in Costa Rica. He’s played in every possible corner in Mexico, including the country’s most recognized events such as the Time and Space Festival.
