 | | | Real name / | François-Xavier Lasou | Babbs discovered techno & house at the age of 13. At this time, he became a huge fan of Laurent Garnier, Underworld and Orbital. He then decides to dedicate himself to deejaying, something that he could only do at thist time by working his knowledge of electronic music. After years and years listening to Detroit Techno, House, Electro, Italo-Disco, Minimal, Drum'n'Bass, Hip-Hop and other stuffs, he finds that it's too hard to discriminate good music for an other good music. Following the steps of his musical godfathers, Babbs tries to share some special music he loves, no matter how "they" define it.
Babbs is also a member of Sound of Sand, a Lille-based association which purpose is to organise techno events in Lille and its region. Sound of Sand has already welcomed Joris Voorn, Deetro..
