Important early influences for Barry were Disco, Soul, Funk, New Wave, Punk, early Hip Hop and the first wave of Chicago/Acid House and Detroit Techno - influences that, to this day, have continued to inform his career as both DJ and producer. He was among a handful involved in the foundations of LA’s Rave/Acid House scene, making a name for himself as one of the first generation rave DJs.
