While I have experienced the rise of electronic music in Germany from a "true" underground scene to a more mainstream movement, New York has remained an underground scene to this day, however, developing to a hotbed of sophisticated electronic dance music and a force to be reckoned with, in the years to come.

 | | BART STANKIEWICZ, grew up in Frankfurt/Germany, where he has been actively following the German electronic music scene, since the early 90’s. When he forayed into the world of house and techno, DJing was the last thing on his mind. Before he hit the decks, he was simply infatuated with discovering the various styles of electronic music. Initially inspired by Frankfurt’s DJs Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalobos, and DJ T, he got into DJing with several of his friends, who have been DJing at local events in and around Frankfurt.
