AUTAN RETRO is the new Series of releases from Autan Records dedicated
this time to "rude", "funky" and "retro" Tech/House sounds!
The first shot is signed by BERNY, one of most interesting and
versatile Artist from Italy that banged 2010 with his single "Shplatten"
around the globe.
BERNY delivers three original cuts that are likely to stand the test of
time! "Dirty Eyes" is a twisted Funky/House march with an
Electro/Digital touch, where over rolling radio-vocal snips bring a
powerful energy on the floor.
PIZETA masterfully remixes this track and delivers the perfect "retro"
House sound that will caracterize AUTAN RETRO for long time.
Second cut "Coconut" is instead a paced down and trippy number.
Very atmospherical in the mood but with a bouncy groove, still carries
Berny's quality imprint.
First Remix is from F.SONIK, one of leading Artists of Steve Lawler's
VivA Music. This time we appreciate a driving Tribe/House groove,
topped with an heavy filtered bass loop and a really funky rhythm, a
great tool for many Dj Sets!
Italian "Disco" Lord Claudio Coccoluto makes his second appeareance
on AUTAN with his Remix of "Coconut", bringing us an "ingenius"
interpretation of the track, electronic and minimalistic with clear
influences from Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk. This Remix sounds like
a magical wake-up call for the soul. Simply put it’s special!
Last track is "Il Trucchetto", a superb "cocktail" tune, a wrapping
heatwave which will warm up hearts and souls at every airplay. The
Remix is from KEEMANI, directly from Manocalda Label, run by Pasta
Boys. His interpretation is the sound of Old School flavours, tearing
into the past and the present and creating a winning formula.
