Billy Disciple has been at forefront of electronic music culture since 1994. Over the span of his career, Billy has performed in countless states along the east coast and has shared the decks with some of the industry’s most prolific artists, including Terry Lee Brown Junior, Kevin Saunderson, Christian Smith, Josh Wink, Nic Fanciulli, Chloe Harris, and many others. Some notable venues for Billy include the Limelight, Sullivan Room, Crobar, Bar 13, Club Firestone, and Club H2O, to name a few.
Presently, Billy has shifted his focus slightly from DJing to the launch of his first record label project, Undulate Recordings. Undulate is the brainchild of Billy’s close friends and fellow Sullivan Room residents, Al Alvarez (Deepspell) and Greg James. The trio once served as the driving force behind People NYC, and helped to organize several of the most innovative events to hit New York, including the New York City debuts of Pig & Dan and D-Formation.
As the A&R for Undulate, Billy will have a large hand in developing the label's vision and musical direction - a task that his experience has prepared him well for. Keep an eye out for the official launch of Undulate Recordings; Summer 2009.
