Hailing from Goa by way of Glasgow, Auntie Flo (aka Brian D'Souza) takes in influence from anything as far flung as Villalobos, Four Tet and Caribou, to Fela Kuti, William Onyeabor, and kwaito, alongside Kode 9's Hyperdub, Chicago house from Fast Eddie, Tyree Cooper, etc. More recently Matias Aguayo's Comeme imprint and some of the current movers and shakers from the UK scene. His latest release just dropped on Huntley & Palmers (the first release on the label) and has so far gathered great support from the like of Jackmaster, Sinden, Caribou, Joy Orbison and Egyptrixx due to it's old school tribal house vibes and neatly distributed stripped down funk. We are happy to announce that he will play a live set & DJ on this night.
