Brian Kage is the label owner of Beretta Music and a Deep Techno Producer & DJ from Detroit, Michigan. Together with Luke Hess, he forms half of the duo known as, 'Reference.'  

Brian's music has had an impact on dancefloors globally.  His solo and collaboration records have been charted and played by many top DJs from all genres including Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Danny Howells, Vince Watson, Fabrice Lig, Derrick May, Sasha, Greg Gow and more.  

In 2002, Brian Kage and good friend Ryan Sadorus began a new label called, 'Beretta Music'  Beretta Music along with sub-labels 'Beretta Grey' and 'Beretta Red' have continued to feature sought-after quality dance music releases that focus on soul, not hype.  

Apart from his work on Beretta, Kage has gone on to release big time records for labels such as Planet-E, Echospace, Thinner, Lumina, Monoid, Restructured, and DLuv.   Brian's latest solo record, 'Bear Trax Volume 2' received a 4 out of 5 star rating on Resident Advisor and has garnered great support from DJs such as Seth Troxler, Alland Byallo, Dave Angel, Ryan Crosson and many many more.
