Matteo Bruscagin aka Brusca and Apologist born in Treviso in 1983. The young Matteo started listening different kinds of music (Classical, Rock, Ambient, Electronic, ’70) and 1998 influenced from artists as Alan Parsons, Pink Floyd, Tears for Fears, Bronski Beat’s “Small Town Boy” he started djing and performing in many important clubs (M1, Toys Klub, New York Jazz) and events in the Venice area and in North Italy.

Brusca, as is known by today, in 2001 started studying informatic technologies and after the discovery of musical editing softwares he decided to create his own music, producing many other italian electronic artist (Sam Perez, Tommy Vee, Alfred Azzetto - DB Boulevard, Gianni Coletti and others) and releasing track for many importants brands as Swatch, Benetton and Sisley too, also performing in their events. His first success was the 12” “Ghouls and Ghost” with his friend Sam Perez, released on H’Plus and charted from Paul Van Dyk in 2002. In the following years he worked on lots of projects achieving excellent feedback from the audience and the support from international djs and producer (Deep Dish, Francois K, Hernan Cattaneo, gPal, Laurent Garnier, Behrouz, Silicon Soul, James Talk, Fish Go Deep, Teed Patterson, Sultan, Joe T Vannelli, dPen, John Digweed and many many more) and labels (Yoshitoshy, Wave Music, Baroque, Swift, Clubbin’, Restart, Electronic Elements - Armada, FeralCode). After so many productions and remixes, in 2007 he decide to raise his own label PyCairoRecords with the target of give voice to other joung and talented artists that haven’t got the chance to reach the masses.

2008 is a great year for Matteo with great results.
He had an extra issue on Purplemusic with a project realized in cooperation with anubistudios.com and the growing of Apologist that keep confirming itself as sensual and provocative. It can be adapted in many situations.
Always this year Matteo starts his collaboration with Christian Dori, the idea maker of the television program Ibiza-Eivissa.tv . This is the reason why Matteo moved himself to the island of Ibiza for the summer period. He produces all the soundtrack for the program and has an editorial monthly on the magazine called “Night&Day” distributed in Ibiza.
During the summer season 2008 in Ibiza he has played as guest in big clubs as Privilege and Space, international radios as Ibizaglobalradio, Friskyradio and Danceradio.

Actually Matteo is working on the Apologist, a techno/deep project, together with his friend Sam Perez that is reaching the attention of other international labels and that will be released in the next months also on Wavemusic and PyCairo.
