buraq is a DJ and producer from Bern / Switzerland who was born in winter 1988. Early in life he discovered his love for music and decided to become a DJ in 2005. Just half a year after he had bought his first DJ equipment he made his debut in nightlife. From day one he enjoyed being in clubs and burning the candle at both ends with party people in different clubs. His youthful enthusiasm quickly rubs off on the crowd. That's how every night with him becomes a great experience. To be able to play the music he likes best and identifies with, he decided to construct a music studio and produce his own music.
After his brilliant first single „Charly Braun“ with Kellerkind on Germany’s well known label „Stil Vor Talent“, buraq released a smashing EP, containing his tracks „Where’s My Money“, „La Revolución“ and „Bienvenu“ on Millia Records. Shortly after that, Polished Audio released his track „The Sinner / It’s 2L8 B*tch Interlude“, a groovie Deep-House track, with a lot of dirty little sins. buraq’s collaboration „Don’t You“ with Patrick Podage, will be released by Flash Recordings (Circle Compilation) in December 2011.
