At the dawn of the millennium Caspian Rabone was part of a group of artists including Rainfield, Winnick/Cochran, Greg Gow, Adam Marshall, Jeremy Caulfield and Jake Fairley that put Toronto on the map as the Canadian techno wave gathered momentum.

He was also responsible for Polaris Records, one of the select labels like Blue, Dumb Unit and Cynosure launched by Canadian underground distributor Roundtable.

Caspian’s early releases had a harder brassic note but now he’s opting for a mellow and melodious tone. Over the years his music has garnered global recognition from DJs such as Cari Lekebusch, Laurent Garnier, Derek May, John Acquaviva and Kevin Saunderson to name a few. With label support from Definitive, Secret Weapon, Tuning Spork, Conversation and most recently one of Toronto’s most successful imprints - Thoughtless Music.
