Since his early days Chris got the urge to get involved with music. He played several instruments, which had nothing to do with electronics. His first intesive contacts to electronic music startet at the age of fifteen. In 1996 he first had the chance to spin records on two technics turntables at a friends place. Soon after that he decided to buy his own equipment. The ClubCafé in Neu-Ulm offered him a weekly residency in 1997. He took the chance and played an electro-house set every thursday. Due to the fact that all of Ulms nightlife organizers joined the location, he soon started to socialize with them.
