Claire Ripley is a DJ and producer from Maidstone in Kent, a town famed for generating an influx of talent currently flooding todays dance scene.

Claire experienced immediate success with her first demo being awarded DJ Mag Top Pick and her early productions being described by DJ Mag as "very impressive stuff". Previous DJ sets have included playing at London clubs such as The Key, The Aquarium, Babalou and Hidden as well as a local residencies for Phobic, the night to accompany the label founded by Claire and Richard Belsom.

Phobic Records, a relatively new label, features artists such as Chris Lattner (Moonharbour), Rebekah, Tim Green (TG), Inxec, Harnessnoise, Sona Sound, Justin Margovan, Jobody and is already enjoying massive support from world leading DJ's including Slam (featured on their Radio 1 Essential Mix), Steve Lawler, Magda, Hernan Cattaneo, Carl Cox, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Gabriel Ananda, Seth Troxler, Matt Tolfrey, Benna Schneider, Someone Else, Tom Dazing, Tim Green, Perc, Infusion, Anderson Noise, Lucy, Luke Dzierzek, D. Claire had her first E.P signed to Steve Bug's highly respected Dessous Recordings, a great achievement by anyones standards, particularly for a new producer. The Labyrinth E.P is out now on Dessous Recordings, Labyrinth (including Gorge remix) and Utopia on vinyl and on digital there are 2 additional tracks, Kismet (featured on Steve Bug - The Lab 02) and Sonar. In addition to this Claire has remixed F.E.X - Mysterious Conversation for Dessous Classics - The Remixes, an all time classic previously remixed by Tanzmann and Stefanik and Mazi (Audiosoul Project). In addition to this Steve Bug used 3 of Claire's tracks on his Dessous Best Kept Secrets 2 CD compilation.

2010 sees more releases for Claire on two highly respected labels - Geddes murmur records and Dogmatik. It is easy to see why Mixmag chose to feature Claire as "Keep an Eye On" in their June edition. Watch this space.
