In 2003, Zyskowski released his first record on BELOW THE SURFACE, an independent record label from Detroit. He had two subsequent releases on this label: BTS003, and BTS004. BTS003 featured the track ROTTERDAM, which would later be released on TORA, TORA, TORA, a label out of New York, run by DEITRICH SCHOENEMANN of PROTOTYPE 909. ROTTERDAM was remixed by ALEXI DELANO for this release. BTS004 featured two tracks with vocals by PAUL RANDOLF. Also in 2003, Zyskowski began performing live electronic music, as well as DJing. Since then, he has held several DJ residencies throughout Detroit.
In 2005, Zyskowski started his own independent record label in Detroit, called PEOPLE MOVER PRODUCTIONS. Working with former DETROIT GRAND PUBAH, ANDY TOTH, Zyskowski and a crew of five have had eight releases in vinyl, CD, and digital formats. 2006 saw Zyskowski once again working with SCHOENEMANN on SCHOENEMANN’S new label ADD ON. Zyskowski has had two releases on ADD ON. The first was a compilation featuring Zyskowski, BUTANE, and HOLGER FLINSCH. The second was a three track EP. Zyskowski’s track FOR THE ASKING was licensed for the FABRIC 32 mix by LUKE SLATER. Zyskowski has released original tracks and remixes on seven different national and international record labels. He is featured on the Festival Compilation on D-Records.
As well as his DJ residencies, Zyskowski has maintained a steady schedule of live performances. He has become a staple of the Detroit electronic music scene, with live performances at the DETROIT ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL, the grand re-opening of the DETROIT INSTITUTE OF ART, and the opening of the DETROIT ELECTRONIC MUSIC ARCHIVE at the DETROIT PUBLIC LIBRARY. Zyskowski has also performed live electronic music multiple times in NEW YORK and CHICAGO. Over the past three years, he has stepped out on to the international stage with performances in BARCELONA, MEXICO CITY, and HOLLAND.
