Just 20 years old, the Brazilian Cristiano Campos holds his own place in the electronic music scene. Self-educated, the DJ has been showing interest in the music industry since his childhood. Later, he studied few instruments and has been a member of few local bands and refined his musical taste, which now takes part in a featured modern and contemporary style of music. He began to mix in mid-2005 and since then he got to know that this is his passion. He led a podcast called “Global Strike” (via podomatic). With the invitation, Cristiano Campos will have his own program broadcasted by Fnoob Radio very soon.

Traveling by the kind of music that he spins, Cristiano Campos delivers emotion and glamour to the dance floor, gathering as basics of House-Music, he brings the Deep and the Tech-House to the next level in the underground music scene. "I reintegrate my collection and keep investing in my creation, hoping to set a trend in the music industry. Research is part of the job, of course! I am not the kind of guy who go after hits, i prefer to transform what I like into something that composes with a unique form my Dj sets" He says.

It was at a women’s fashion store called “Gebrin”, located at the East Side of São Paulo that Cristiano has his first residence as a DJ, from May 2008 to March 2010; a not very conventional work. He played there every Saturday for three hours, inviting usually different artists to drop some beats there where they all could be working with the same focus and spread the underground House Music. “The underground music scene is this, the inovation. My first dj-residence was in a fashion store but what really matters is that I was spinning and doing something concrete for the music scene. I love music and I love fashion. I am proud of this, it doesn't matter to what kind of art you're referring to, when you put them together, they just complete each other”, reveals the artist.

In addition to developing talent on the decks, Cristiano is also a music producer. The DJ says he is in no rush to release an album. "To live a creative life, you must first lose the fear of being wrong," he emphasizes.

Founder and Director of Fundii Recordings, a modern record label that was recently established. He promises to bring new sounds and give some more space to new Brazilian producers besides being supportive to international artists too. Conceptual and different, the label focuses its attention to the essence in music: its emotion. “Music is art”, says Cristiano Campos, with a smile on the face.

Outside his country, the artist keeps a good network of European friends and contacts. Cristiano has a deep sympathy for the French culture and is confident to say that his connection with music and fashion is becoming more and more popular. “I can build a party-peak kind of set in the same way I can work on a slow and introspective kind of set, flexibility is a quality that just shows I have so much to ease a warm-up than to the apex of the party”.
