The set starts to kick off straight out with something from the golden era of hip hop... 90's schooled house produced by Michael J. Collins, with the chunkiest of beats drifting into a synth laden cosmos… unique construction and even more special build up that blends somehow just perfectly with the second track by Steffen Deux. The second tune were picked to make part in the "sweat induced" pre-requisite, with strong beats and atmospheric flow it works like an injection of adrenaline and happiness at the same time right into your veins.
An "exotic taste" is I was looking for, the real groove and “vibe” of the mix starts with the third tune. “The Messenger – No More Lies”, real groovy deeplicious vibe... nothing else needs to be said. The fourth track comes to keep up the mood, released by 'Fear of Flying' label, this track of Chris Lattner is nothing but perfect to get your body groovin even more.
The “party” don’t stop and this is definitely the sensation that i wanted to point in the mix. As a ‘warm-upper’ Dj mostly, I tend to keep the set really mysterious and so I did it mixing Lattner’s tune to something even deeper, produced by Gorge this time, remixed by Kenquo.
We’re now in the last tune of the set and i can feel during the mix some “pipes” sound, just like in a basement it reverbs quite warm and there’s nothing better than the flavour of the sweet deep house. With a track produced by Soukie & Windish i finally finish my session, depth on its maximum and volume all up... Pioneer Basement Tracks, that’s what i am talking about.

Tue, 22 Dec 2009 / Post a commentI've put there a couple of favorite records and stuff i'm still about to include and build some next sets with, i mean... spare unique concepts... i guess this gonna be the last recorded set of 2009. This was recorded right after i've back to my home from a gig, kind inspired though, so merry x-mas and happy new year!!!! i'm definetly looking forward for the next year, 2010 promises to be great. Full of love, Full of Joy, Full of Happiness and hopefully lots of work to do!!
