Introduced to turntablism and graffiti in the mid 80’s, Cyrus quickly fell in love with the dynamic forms of self-expression associated with the B-Boy culture. Open minded to the world and it’s diversity, Cyrus ventured to his first underground party at the tender age of 15. Unfortunately the year was 1992 and Los Angeles was struggling with its second wave of civil unrest in 40 years. That Summer the Watts Riots erupted and the underground flat-lined under LA's Marshall Law and curfews.
