They have released consistently great sets by some of my favorite artists, so I knew this had to be something special. The set I submitted was recorded at The Token Lounge near Detroit where I held my first DJ residency nearly a decade ago. After a winter of hunkering down and re-organizing my classics and acquiring loads of new material, I began to watch this compilation come together piece by piece. I recorded the set shortly after being consumed by an emotional whirlwind in my personal life and the results are evident of that.
