Dan Cook
Coming from a musical background, playing piano, cello, percussion guitar from a young age Dan moved onto DJing 6 years ago and has been playing the London clubs for over 4 years, starting off doing warm up sets for nights such as MiMo, Maximalism, Smarty Party, Kinky Malinki and Twisted Disco he quickly rose through the ranks of the UK electro scene; and soon got bookings to support some of the biggest names in the business; from Justice to Tim Sheridan, Prok & Fitch to Fake Blood.
Whilst Dan was rocking dancefloors in the evenings and weekends he was working with DJ Mag, writing a monthly article and managing their music download store. Dan went on to work with various dance music brands such as Xpressbeats, Clickgroove and CDPool; before moving to work for the major labels running digital music portals.
After Dan had done the London electro thing for a couple of years he felt it was time to expand his sound so he teamed up with long term friend and colaborator Tom Finn. Together as 'Cook & Finn' they continue to be at the forefront of the undeground techno and house scene, gaining residencies at The Lightbox and Filth and becoming regular favourites at Ministry of Sound. |
