 | | Danton Eeprom's musical path is the one of a music fiend who experimented with many styles since his teens, going from garage rock to pop to experimental to super underground warehouse beats. At this point he had no time for anything else, and devoted his life to music.
He has amassed a large body of work on labels such as Versatile, Rekids and Hypercolour, as well as remixes of Royksop, Radio Slave and Andrew Weatherall. Today as a DJ/Producer his sound is refined and house based, centering around sexy house beats and sophisticated rhythms but always eluding to the dark undercurrent in his earlier work. His live act is as experimental as ever but with the greater maturity that experience brings.

He's traded in the top hat for more sensible head gear. His music, however, remains anything but. We catch up with the eccentric producer in advance of his appearance at 5 Days Off.Sebastien Devaud announced today that he'll leave the label he co-founded to focus on solo work and new collaborations.
