Dj DANYELINO, real name DANIELE CAMPAGNA, comes from Genova in the northwest part of Italy, a city known for his commercial and business port but also for the big Techno dance music scene, one of the most vivid in Europe. Local Dj’s and the multitude of small clubs and independent record labels that produce quality music, helped the development of such culture amongst Italian clubbers, that often travels from other cities to enjoy this kind of music. Danyelino belongs to the group of disk jockeys that started following this underground movement in the late 1980s, when dj like Francesco Farfa, Alex Neri, Ricky Montanari, Joy Kiticonti were starting to freelance around Europe. Musically influenced by Funky, Soul and Acid Jazz, his early Djing comes from a funky house/progressive background but as of today he has defined his sound to a more Minimal-Tech vibe. Always groovy and eclectic with a hint of funky beats he knows exactly how to push the crowd in the right moment with driving techno energy. Danyelino’s professional career as a DJ and Producer started in Miami USA where he moved definitely in 2000. He met longtime friend Neapolitan Dj/Producer Maurizio Ruggiero that was already in the local club scene since 1996. He started spinning in the local clubs alongside Maurizio and also joined him in the studio productions. They formed the duo “Maurizio and Danyelino” that today is becoming more and more recognized amongst international Dj’s such as DEEP DISH’s ALI DUBFIRE and CEDRIC GERVAIS. Danyelino Co-produced the remix of Dubfire’s Roadkill, hit track of the Winter Music Conference in 2007. This remix has recently been published on the November 2007 issue of MIXMAG insert cd.
