 | | Darabi are the production duo formed by Frenchmen Philippe Hallais and Dang Khoa Chau in order to satisfy their unabashed passion for gangster basslines and disco irreverence.
In 2010 the duo transcended its purpose, outlining the jagged edges of a languorous yet rugged sound stripped down to its bare essentials and distinctive for its no frills aesthetics. Through their debut release on Get The Curse Music, the Knock 'Em Down EP, their contagious groove got several Djs spellbound. With Ivan Smagghe, Michael Mayer and Ewan Pearson among the infected there is no doubt this duo are at the forefront of the fledging French underground.
