Dave Mayer (real name David Meijer) was fascinated by music from a very young age. The Dutch youngster (born in 1986) created his fine style and feeling for music by listening to the big variety of different music styles in his father’s record collection.
In the year of 2000 he was getting interested in the funky and groovy sounds of house-music. He started playing house at small parties to gain experience, to get used to playing for a crowd and to learn from other DJs.
