DJing and music have taken New York's Dennis Rodgers many places. Over the past few years he has developed a mature sound of his own - an electronic blend of underground house and techno with funky undertones. Holding a respect for the venue and the vibe of the night his music is directed at both the head and the hips.

Along with DJs Nick AC and Bill Patrick, Dennis Rodgers is part of the Robots, a techno collaboration hosting one of New York City's most successful monthly club events. The list of guest DJs who have appeared at these parties reads like a who's who of the techno and electro scene. The Robots also host an Internet radio show RobotRadio broadcast live on eastvillageradio.com every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Dennis is always striving to push his sound forward, "I constantly try to find new music to keep myself interested and therefore the crowd." The ability to find undiscovered techy, quirky, deep house and techno has become his trademark.

As a producer, Dennis has also released a remix on Butane's Alphahouse label and a single on his own label Native Theory which he runs with sometime production partner Hisham Samawi. In the future Dennis hopes to further develop his name as a producer.
