Will Burns started out as a runner/assistant for BBC Radio & Ministry of Sound after leaving University, he had been working as a DJ since his School days with a record collection reaching it's thousands before even turning 18.
In 2003 Will visited Miami for the Winter Music Conference, 2 years later he was running his own club night/event there which he named Dirty Retro.
After spending several years on productions & remixes in his Woking based basement studio that was formally rented out by the Peace Division, Dirty Retro concentrated on performing at live events & clubs across the globe where he took his unique & eclectic sound from the UK to Asia Australia & America, club residency's continued in Miami south beach & London's west end.
His diverse & eclectic mix of house & electro together with classic retro re edits from the 1930's swing era - 1980's funk & Live mash ups are popular with music lovers & clubbers alike. A regular feature at festivals include Bestival, Big Chill, Glastonbury, Guilfest.
In 2006 Will decided to move more towards club events & management purchasing his own bar & club in the same town where his studio was located, he named his club Remix Bar & began hosting his own big nights there bringing guest DJs from around the world to play. DJs included Ricky Stone, Tall Paul, Bobby & Steve, Brandon Block amongst others.
Dirty Retro & events were still taking place regularly internationally while operating his venue.
2011 Will sold his club to concentrate more on Dirty Retro, his main love music,DJ & event work.
