Dj Rocca (head of Maffia Soundsystem crew) began his first recording experiences with Bossa Nostra, one of the basic band for Italian acid jazz, and with them he conceived the cd “Solaria”- published by Irma Records. Then, as a solo artist, he gets the residence at the Maffia Club, reference point for the “leftfield” scene in Italy, as you can see from the list of artists hosted at Maffia Club such as : Dj Krush, Goldie, Fatboy Slim, Roni Size, James Lavelle, Howie B, Lamb, Red Snapper, Coldcut, Leftfield, 4 Hero, Dimitri from Paris, Les Rythmes Digitales… with whom Dj Rocca played.
