Check out a sneak peak of the upcoming Fatsouls Records' "NO DISCUSSION EP" by Fuminori Kagajo Feat. Adeniji Heavywind!
Asia and Africa unite in NO DISCUSSION, a new gem from the folks at Fatsouls Records. With a blazing collaboration, the community will enjoy the fierce production of Fuminori Kagajo (Japan) and powerful vocals of Afro beat maestro, Adeniji Heavywind (Nigeria). The journey is deep, the message is tight and all the elements of drums, percussion, synths and vocals come together supersonically. Each of the six mixes holds its own. From Fuminori’s eerie and thumping Rawtech Dub to DJ Rasoul’s laidback groove and label-founder Said’s funky and soulful interpretation, this release has what it takes to satisfy the need to get down.

Exclusive will be available on April 02, 2012 @ www.traxsource.com/fatsouls

A monthly night of eclectic dance music.
Please join us for an organic music experience with our dear brother: Ian Friday (Tea Party Music, Libation NY)

Armed with a passion for the arts, IAN FRIDAY is on a creative mission. This New Yorker has been seen on stage and film and has performed throughout NYC as a poet. In 1994 he founded a nonprofit arts organization called Tea Party Music which provided a platform for upcoming and established artists such as Erykah Badu, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Saundra St. Victor, Vernon Reid, Coery Glover, Saul Williams, Antibalas and the Last Poets. The Tea Party Music event has also featured one of the hottest and well respected open mics in NYC as well as a party with Ian at the deejay helm. Currently Ian produces music, tours the world and resides over the famed NYC underground deep soulful party he calls LIBATION. This party sees no one standing: It is for those who love music and love the self expression of getting down. Don't miss a rare opportunity to hear Ian's memorable set delivery on 222 Hyde's unparalleled Turbo Sound.
