Luca Sanna a.k.a. Dj Sanchezlife was born in Italy and currently lives in London. He is an eclectic selector, involved in many different aspects of the music business and graphic design.
Sanchezlife's sound is a reflection of his main musical influences like Chaka khan, Herbie Hancock, Kraftwerk, Francois Kevorkian, Moz-Art and Italo house, Juan Atkins, Motown, taking in everything from Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk, Disco and Cosmic Boogie.
He has been involved with a friend of his, Gianluca Carboni, leader of Soulsystem productions (www.myspace.com/gianlucacarboni), based in Sardinia (Italy) since 1998, organising festivals (Soulpower) and music events (Red Bull Music Academy) with artists like, Alex Barck from “Jazzanova”, Adrian Gibson, KC the Funkaholic, Rainer Truby, Isoul8, playing with them until now.
Currently, Sanchezlife is also Art director of Gotta Keep Faith.
