DomSamba, originally from Brazil, moved to the UK in 1989 to Leeds. At the age of 12, he got his first pair of decks which he wanted in order to learn the art of scratching and mixing hip hop. From the age of 14 he was playing various house parties using his newly found skills. At 15, he read an article in 'Mixmag' about the dance scene in Ibiza and after seeing the pictures of the crowds and the reviews from the White Isle, decided to get into dance and house music.
