The third EP Trend Records is composed of three versions ranging in genre and musical sounds, the original version by Alessio Collina back to old school-house sounds of past years with a groove that works even overwhelming the more difficult tracks.
remixes entrusted to two great artists: Dorian Chavez and Saccobros; Dorian has created a version much like the current sound, very happy house while saccobros created a dub version, with the use of percussion, bass and techno grooves.

With their new offering – ‘Kiribumba’ - the cuttind-edge Spanish imprint continue their valiant quest to intertwine grand musicality with dynamic dance floor sensibilities. And once more they nail it unequivocally.

Production duties for Gimmick 35 are taken up by the delectable duo of Dorian Chavez & Francisco Allendez. With only a handful of tracks under their proverbial belts – the Chilean pair have already started turning some serious heads in house circles. Their collective ear for combining classic rhythms and melodies with super-modern production techniques is truly mesmerising and gives them a pronounced edge over many of their competitors.

Woodblocks, drum rolls and bustling voices mark the beginnings of ‘Kiribumba’, before it quickly dilates into an itchy 4/4 stomp. Booming bass and fizzing crescendos lead it forward before rhythmic chants and flutes tickle proceedings. Towards the end of the track, dreamy synths and 808 claps leap on board - bringing the track to a deeper, more atmospheric conclusion.

On the flip, Melohman and Javi Bora deliver an equally buoyant but brighter and thicker interpretation positively brimming with succulent instrumentation; very much reminiscent of Henrik Schwarz’s more worldly escapades.

The two versions compliment each other superbly and help define this as Gimmick’s most elegant and refined release to date.

In the last years, Chile has become in an important exporter of high quality electronic music. This has not gone unnoticed by My Little Dog and the proof of this is our tenth release. Dorian Chavez, resident dj of La Feria Club (Santiago de Chile) is the man in charge of the tenth My Little Dog ep.

Isla de Pascua is a house track with organic percussions, latin instrumentation and an absolutely debastating groove, that make the track an effective weapon for all those summer terrace sessions.
