He gained his 1st residency in Chelmsford, Essex, UK. in 1971, DJ’d at 26 of the original Caister Soul Weekenders and is one of only 4 resident spinners to have appeared at every Southport Dance Weekend. His passion for quality black music has seen him have awardwinning Radio shows on London’s Kiss 100Fm and BBC Radio London. Bob has also traveled the globe, spreading the word and apart from his producing, recording, record labels (Black on Black and Chilli Funk Records) and DJ’ing activities, the good doctor contributes a monthly ‘Surgery’ column for MANIFESTO Magazine and hosts a monthly Radio show on SolarRadio.com and a monthly mix on Samurai Fm.
