He came in contact with electronic music in the 80s and has been fascinated with it ever since. Once he heard techno, in 1993, he was smitten and began buying records in Berlin in 1995 and which naturally led to him spinning. He is member of smaragdmusik, a crew with artists in Berlin, Dessau and - since 2008 - also in Leipzig. That’s when dsant moved here.
